This series began germinating around 2014 or 2015 and exploded around my old band's decision to enter the studio and record some of our old material. Many of the paintings revolved around some of our song lyrics and some of the notebook art stylings we'd developed in the 80s and early 90s. Others are simply me reaching into my backbrain and playing with impressions from childhood/adolescence/early 20s. The series probably peaked around 2018 when we finished our album and after that I moved on.
