Like a lot of paintings in the Apocalypse Series this is a trip directly to my backbrain. It deals with childhood and focuses on my attitudes toward authority from then to now.
My Father was a defense contractor during the Cold War and he helped design the Guidance System for the Hawk Missile project. We always had nicely framed black and white photos of Hawk Missiles in our house when I was growing up. It was always in the background. There are strong elements of collage in this one.
