Another early example of the paper art that came together around the Purgatory series. These small, inexpensive paintings turned things around for me as a painter and I began making a lot more sales. This was the beginning of my "Cafe Strategy"---pushing the belief that people who weren't packing a lot of money enjoyed art too, and deserved to be catered to.
